Mr. Tunde Fasheun Marsh Risk Consulting, Australia
Mr. Tunde Fasheun joined the Marsh Risk Consulting team in 2014. He brings engineering and international business experience, six sigma expertises supportive of the analysis and identification of criticalities as well as cyber risk understanding to your organisation.
Mr. Tunde has a background in industrial based manufacturing. Prior to joining Marsh, he has implemented a wide range of high impact strategic initiatives in Manufacturing and Logistics across Australia and New Zealand. He has over 30 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics and control systems, project management, asset management, strategic planning and management, continuous improvement, and risk and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Tunde is a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has extensive hands-on experience in operational excellence (lean six-sigma), quality management and environmental systems planning, and supply chain. Enterprise Risk Management: Mr. Tunde has used his strategic risk management knowledge in providing corporate loss prevention and cost control services to executive management teams of numerous state owned enterprises in the South Pacific. Cyber Risk Reviews: As Lead Consultant for MRC Cyber Risk Australia, developed the delivery roadmap for Marsh Global Cyber Assurance strategy in Australia.
Mr. Tunde developed both Cyber Risk Review and Loss Quantification tools that provide insight into critical Information Technology and Operational Technology asset cyber risk exposures and guidance on risk treatment.
Mr. Mark Halabe Mark One Apparel, Managing Director
Mr. Halabe is Managing Director at Mark One Apparel (Fiji) PTY Limited from 1988 and Managing Director of Halabe Investments PTY Limited from 2002. Mr. Halabe has Masters of Industrial Science from The University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. He also obtains Bachelor of Science with Honours Leichester, UK. In 2000, he was awarded the Member of the Order of Fiji for service to Industry. Mr. Halabe was Vice President of the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation and appointed Chairman of the Productivity & Quality Training Board in 2001.
He became the Director of the 2003 South Pacific Games and appointed a member of the Prime Ministers Think Tank in 2003. From 2010-2013, he was Chairman of the International School, Suva. 2012-2014, Mr. Halabe was Chairman Fiji Fashion Council. In 2014, he was awarded the Prime Ministers Exporter of the Year and in 2017, he was awarded the Prime Ministers Excellence in Business Leadership.
Mr. Ashwin Raj
Mr. Ashwin Raj is the Director of the Human Rights and AntiDiscrimination Commission and the Chairperson of the Media Industry Development Authority.
Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho Commissioner of Police Brigadier
General Sitiveni Qiliho has 27 years of experience in RFMF and 4 years in FPF.
He has attended many local and International Courses and has served in various management capacities with the Fiji Military Forces. Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho is a Graduate of the Indian Defence Services Staff College and has a Master’s of Science Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from Madras University, India.
He also attended the Senior Strategic Leadership Programme in United Kingdom. Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho was awarded UN Peace Keeping Medals for services in Lebanon, Sinai, Syria, Iraq, EastTimor and the Golan Heights.
He was awarded the Fiji Command Medal, Meritorious Service Decoration and General Service’s medals.
Dr. Nikhat Shameem Interim Director, Fiji Higher Education Commission
Dr. Nikhat Shameem is an experienced Global Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the non-profit organisation management industry.
She is skilled in International Relations, Analytical Skills, Communication, Facilitation and Fundraising. Dr Shameem is a strong human resources professional with a Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) focused in Applied Linguistics from Victoria University of Wellington.
Dr. Shameem is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, United Kingdom.
She currently serves as the FHEC’s Interim Director and was previously it’s Deputy Director. She has held roles as the Chief Education -UNICEF Sudan, Manager – Global Partnership for Education in Zimbabwe as well as Manager Girls Education Project in Nigeria.
Dr. Shameem was also an academic at Newcastle upon Tyne University, Manager Teacher Education at UNITEC, New Zealand and also taught at prominent Suva schools, namely the Adi Cakobau School, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School and Suva Grammar School. She is passionate about literature and poetry and has had a number of her poems and short stories published.
