Local Business Coaches
Do you have the talent and passion to support the growth of MSMEs in Fiji?
The Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF) is Fiji’s largest private sector organisation. It represents the interests of the employers and the private sector at large in the country.
The Market Development Facility (MDF) is a multi-country private sector development initiative which stimulates investment, business innovation and regulatory reform in order to create jobs and increase the income of the poor. MDF is funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and is implemented by The Palladium Group.
FCEF, in partnership with MDF, are establishing a Business Accelerator Program for its Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise (MSME) members, specifically those from the Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) and Women Entrepreneurs Business Council (WEBC). In this regard, FCEF is seeking to recruit Local Business Coaches (LBCs) to be responsible for one or more of the following business subjects:
- Strategic management
- Accounting and Financial Management
- Human Resource Management
- Sales & Marketing
The LBCs will be required to develop tailored subject curriculum, deliver classroom-based training, with follow up business mentoring support to the MSMEs in the accelerator program. The LBCs will also receive specialized capacity building and technical support from an International Master Trainer. The positions will report directly to the Business Accelerator Manager and FCEF CEO.
