The Women Entrepreneurs Business Council (WEBC) 2022-2027 Strategic Plan outlines a comprehensive roadmap to empower women in Fiji’s business landscape. Rooted in its vision of “Women Entrepreneurs Invigorating the Nation,” WEBC’s mission is to enable and empower women to actively participate in socio-economic development.
The Plan centers on four strategic goals, known as the 4Ps: People, Process, Partners, and Purse.
- People focuses on developing women entrepreneurs through mentoring, leadership training, and outreach to informal sector women.
- Process emphasizes adopting sustainable business practices and technology, such as e-commerce and digital tools.
- Partners promotes strategic collaborations with government bodies, NGOs, and international partners to enhance women’s economic empowerment.
- Purse aims for sound financial management and the creation of income-generating activities to sustain WEBC’s operations.
The Plan also reflects the outcomes of the inaugural Women Invigorating the Nation (WIN) Convention and a detailed SWOT analysis. These emphasize inclusivity, data-driven strategies, digitalization, ethical practices, and regional networking. With a strong support system, peer mentoring, and advocacy, WEBC aims to bridge gaps between formal and informal economies and position itself as a national and regional leader in women’s entrepreneurship.
