National Budget (2025-26) consultations commenced today organized by the Ministry of Finance, Fiji and FCEF contributions centered on the budget addressing 3 key challenges faced by the private sector:

1. the high cost of doing business
2. the skills crisis and
3. the low productivity at national and enterprise level
   

FCEF will be preparing a comprehensive budget submission on behalf of its members. To kick start the process, an exclusive session on understanding Government budgetary process and how to make effective submissions has been organized for members this Friday at 11am at FCEF with the Permanent Secretary for Finance.
