FCEF welcomed the transition of its Young Entrepreneurs Council to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Council (MSME), and launch of its new logo on June 29th 2024
The Federation is thrilled to have an MSME Council, which reinforces its commitment to supporting and nurturing the MSME community. FCEF is always ready and willing to work with MSMEs to help them grow and make a difference.
This change represents an expanded commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and enhancing the work that FCEF does in the MSME sector.
Their contributions are essential as we strive to create more opportunities for MSMEs in Fiji.
At the MSME Council, innovation sits at the centre of everything we do—because the success of MSMEs in Fiji cannot be achieved in isolation.
As the Chairman for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Council (MSME),Mr. Watesoni brings a wealth of skills and experience to his leadership role. His diverse background as an entrepreneur and owner of The Merch, a successful second-hand retail store, showcases his business acumen and understanding of the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the market. Furthermore, his expertise as a lawyer and accredited mediator enables him to navigate complex legal and dispute resolution matters that often arise in the MSME space. Mr. Watesoni’s contributions go beyond his own ventures, as he actively serves on various boards in the MSME development sector, including the Young Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES), Employment Relations Advisory Board (ERAB), and the MSME Finance Working Group with the Reserve Bank of Fiji. His commitment to empowering and supporting small business owners makes him an invaluable asset in leading the Council.
