The Mining and Quarry Council (MQC) of FCEF met to discuss the draft Mineral Policy Framework Assessment, Policy Paper on the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) and Guidelines for Exploration and the Review of the Mining Act (1965).

FCEF is coordinating with the Department of Environment and Mineral Resources Department in the drafting of investment enabling guidelines for environmental assessment, particularly for mineral exploration.
